AS Degree Transfer Agreements

The Associate in Science degree can offer transfer opportunities beyond the two-year AS degree if a transfer agreement is in place.

The Office of K-20 Articulation, the Division of Strategic Initiatives and the Florida DOE have developed a group of Career Ladder articulation agreements under the provisions of Rule 6A-10.024. These agreements are for completed Associate in Science degrees with designated university baccalaureate degree programs.

The following additional institutions have current AS transfer agreements with Palm Beach State College.


Transfer Agreements with Florida Public Institutions

Broward College - BSES
This agreement establishes an articulation mechanism for graduates of the A.S. In Environmental Science Technology at Palm Beach State College to transfer into and complete the Bachelor of Science Environmental Science.  

Florida Atlantic University - Geosciences Programs

This agreement facilitates a transfer pathway for Palm Beach State College A.A. students to undergraduate degree programs leading to a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with a focus in either Geography or Geology.  

Florida Atlantic University - Bachelor of Social Work 
The intention of these agreements is to establish articulation mechanisms for graduates of the A.S Degree in Human Services at Palm Beach State College to transfer into and complete the Bachelor of Social Work at the Phyllis and Harvey Sandler School of Social Work in FAU's College for Design and Social Inquiry.

 

Florida International University - Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management

This agreement establishes an articulation mechanism for graduates of the A.S Degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management at Palm Beach State College to transfer into and complete the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management in Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management.

 

Valencia College BSRAD Program - Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Imaging Sciences:   Magnetic Resonance Imaging Concentration OR Computed Tomography Concentration

This agreement establishes an articulation mechanism for graduates of the A.S. Degree in Radiography at Palm Beach State College who also hold an Advanced Technical Certificate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging to transfer into and complete the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic and Imaging Science - Magnetic Resonance Imaging Concentration at Valencia College; OR graduates of the A.S Degree in Radiography at Palm Beach State College who also hold an Advanced Technical Certificate in Computed Tomography to transfer into and complete the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic and Imaging Science - Computed Tomography Concentration at Valencia College. 


Transfer Agreements with Private Institutions

Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities - Nursing

Community/State college students with an AS in nursing and who are a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) can transfer with junior standing. All credit awarded by a community/state college will transfer to the participating member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. (60 credit minimum) The association schools are Creighton University (Omaha, NE), Regis University (Denver, CO), Wheeling Jesuit University (Wheeling, WV), and Spring Hill College (Mobile, AL).

 

Charter Oak State College - Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management

This agreement establishes an articulation mechanism for graduates of the A.S. Degree in Health Information Technology at Palm Beach State College to transfer into and complete the Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management degree at Charter Oak State College.  

The College of St. Scholastica - Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management

This agreement establishes an articulation mechanism for graduates of the A.S. Degree in Health Information Technology at Palm Beach State College to transfer into and complete the Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management degree at The College of St. Scholastica.
