The Koo Family Art Collaborative Mentorship
The Koo Family Art Collaborative Mentorship provides our students a unique and valuable opportunity to work with the HMS Visiting Artist in a professional capacity.
Through generous support from the Koo Family, students receive a stipend and receive direct mentorship while developing new works and assisting the Visiting Artist.
The aim of the program is to connect our students and academic community with an active working professional artist in a way that is participatory and collaborative and not merely symbolic.
The student mentees will have the opportunity to work alongside the artist and to learn about his/her creative process, professional life, and networking strategies directly in a way that cannot be done in the classroom.
