Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Prepare for leadership roles in this flexible, affordable RN-BSN program.
Why Choose to Earn a BSN?
You’re already a great nurse – now get the career and salary you deserve. This ACEN-accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program prepares registered nurses for nursing leadership roles and admission to master’s degree nursing programs. Even to continue practicing at the bedside, the trend is to give hiring preference to the BSN-educated nurse. Clearly, there’s never been a better time to pursue your BSN degree.
The BSN program at Palm Beach State College, also known as RN to BSN, is designed as a “2+2” program, where applicants must have earned an associate degree in nursing from an accredited school and have a current Florida licensure in nursing.
The program’s in-depth curriculum aligns with state standards and challenges students to think critically about clinical decision-making, management theory and techniques, advanced patient care, current issues in nursing and more. Our BSN students develop a more comprehensive perspective that goes beyond skills. They complete research that can propel them professionally and contribute to innovation in patient care and community health.
