Marsha Marie Mosely is the Faculty Development Coach for Palm Beach State College (PBSC) Online and International Education and Adjunct Professor.
She brings more than 18 years of educational experience from the School District of Palm Beach County and currently teaches Introduction to the College Experience as an Adjunct Instructor.
As a Classroom Instructor supporting students in grades K-12, she specialized in embedding digital resources within courses and was assigned as a designated liaison in analyzing curriculum framework and its correlation to student performances. As a Peer Assistance Review Consultant-Coach, she worked with collective bargaining units and administrative governance boards in facilitating professional development training to review and discuss policies and procedures for employees with classroom challenges due to instructional and/or classroom deficiencies. As an Assessment Coordinator, she supervised school personnel in administering international, national, state, and local assessments. She created and executed project plans to coordinate logistics of assessment administration and developed and facilitated presentations to culturally diverse groups from all social and economic segments of the community, on student assessment literacy and graduation requirements for Florida Statewide Assessments. Additionally, she provided expertise and support for stakeholders in the areas of data management, program analysis, and strategies to facilitate student success. As a Career and Technical Education Specialist, she was the overseer in analyzing and updating Career and Technical Programs of Study, as required by the Florida Department of Education's Curriculum Framework, and was accountable for verifying and auditing qualitative and quantitative data of Career and Technical Education Programs of Study. In this role, she coached instructors to set and meet aligned goals, through data dashboards and process mapping. Additionally, she created and facilitated the professional development training and support of all High School Criminal Justice and Fire Science Academies and sustained a working relationship with Palm Beach State College as the students matriculated, earning college credits.
In her role as a PBSC Online Faculty Development Coach, Marsha Marie provides consultation and development for faculty in the design of course and program curricula and pedagogies in all instructional modalities, according to established best practices, including learning outcomes, curriculum alignment, learning centered teaching strategies and assessments. She works collaboratively with the Center of Teaching and Learning to achieve established goals and outcomes for faculty development, and provides professional development for faculty in the selection and effective use of digital technologies, in all instructional modalities, according to best practices.
