These continuing education courses prepare students for the Water and/or Wastewater Level "C" state license.
- Level "C" is offered in three parts, 54 hours each. Students must complete all three parts. Upon successful completion of all three parts, students will be qualified to sit for the "C" state license exam.
- The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has approved these courses to prepare for your state exam.
- Prepare the student to pass the Distribution Operator exam in less than a month.

In this course, students will learn to safely and effectively operate and maintain drinking water plants. Information is presented on drinking water regulations, fluoridation, instrumentation and advanced lab procedures. Administrative procedures for dealing with budgeting, setting rates, recordkeeping, personnel administration, public relations and emergency planning are also covered in this course. Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 are prerequisite courses for taking the State's Class "C" Water Treatment License Exam.

This course is designed to prepare students to pass the Florida Department of Environmental Protection test and become a water distribution operator. The level 3 operator license qualifies the operator to serve the distribution system connected to a Class A, B, or C water treatment plant serving at least 1,000 persons and less than 10,000. This class covers storage facilities, distribution system facilities, distribution system operation and maintenance, distribution system mathematics, disinfection and safety.
