Safety Training
Stop the Bleed Training
Stop the Bleed is immediate aid training in the event of a traumatic bleeding injury. These life-threatening bleeding injuries can occur at home, during recreational activities, during traffic collisions, and at work when every minute counts. Know what to do if it happens to you, your family, or coworkers or if you encounter a stranger in need. These classes are being taught by outreach trainers from the two Level 1 trauma centers in Palm Beach County, Delray Medical Center, and St. Mary's Medical Center. The classes are free and open to the entire College community: students, faculty, and staff. Note: Additional classes are being planned so please check back frequently to find a class that fits best with your schedule.
