Absent Referent
Opening Reception: Nov. 7 from 5 - 7 p.m.
Exhibit runs from Nov. 7, - Dec. 13, 2024
Please join us for our Opening Reception of "Absent Referent" on Thursday, Nov. 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. - an exhibit featuring works from local artists, Autumn Kioti and Kim Rae Taylor. Each artist explores subject matter through the theme of absence. Taylor examines Art History’s past and the exclusion of women from the canon. Kioti offers a cautionary glimpse of the future, as environmental deregulation continues while billions of birds disappear from our planet. Exhibit runs from Nov. 7 to Dec. 13. Admission is free and open to the public.
An artistic performance by Autumn Kioti will occur at the Opening Reception and an artist talk by Kim Rae Taylor will be at 2 p.m. on Nov. 21.
