Academic Services

Academic Services provides faculty and staff with a wide variety of services. As part of Academic Affairs, the office is committed to providing a responsive curriculum for our service area, Palm Beach County. 

Within this website are resources for assistance and information on curriculum development, teaching and learning, strategic and enrollment planning, articulation, learning outcomes, credentialing and many other academic affairs areas. In addition, Academic Services facilitates the operation of the Dr. Floyd F. Koch Honors College.

Julie Sivigny, Dean, Curriculum 
Coordinates curriculum activities district-wide and will help you with issues relating to the Curriculum Committee and curriculum development, articulation agreements, distance learning, class scheduling, faculty credentialing, and the Statewide Course Numbering System (SCNS).

Amanda Rossi, Associate Administrative Assistant, 561-868-3892
Coordinates office and staff activities for Academic Services, assists the Dean of Curriculum and Academic Services staff and is the main contact for room reservations for the Conference Room TC 427.

Laura Babooram, Curriculum & Accreditation Resources Manager, 561-868-3914
Manages and maintains resources for use in the academic units and college-wide curriculum projects.  The Manager also works with faculty and administrators to develop articulation agreements and facilitate pathways between the College and other institutions.

Sharokina De Mirza, Academic Curriculum Coordinator, 561-868-3893
The Curriculum Coordinator helps with questions that relate to the Curriculum Committee, Textbook Updates and Course Outlines. Sharokina also helps with questions about the Catalog Course Descriptions, Dual Enrollment Course Updates, and the Statewide Numbering System (SCNS).

Cyndi Demitruk, Compliance Coordinator, 561-868-3617
Cyndi helps faculty and staff on academic compliance processes with board policy, state statute and federal law. She works with faculty/staff on Textbook Certification, Syllabi inquiries, and other compliance actions. Cyndi also oversees the Affiliation Agreements with county school districts and manages the Faculty Handbook. 

Jennifer Hudson, Academic Scheduling and Catalog Coordinator, 561-868-3281
Jennifer will assist you with catalog and academic scheduling questions.

Clarisse May, Academic Coordinator, 561-868-3831
Clarisse coordinates the Online Faculty Credentialing Database and credentialing procedures, Adjunct Faculty Development Online Course, and Academic Management Manual updates, Prior Learning Forms and application process and Career Pathways Articulation Agreements with SDPBC.  

Sharon Menard, Curriculum Analyst, 561-868-3894
The Curriculum Analyst will assist you with the course dictionary and class scheduling.

Marcella Montesinos, Director, Dr. Floyd F. Koch Honors College, 561-868-3895
Marcella is responsible for the oversight of the Dr. Floyd F. Koch Honors College.
