The Emerald Torch Awards Gala recognizes PBSC’s role as an engine of opportunity for
Palm Beach County with a mission to advance its economic and social growth and contribute
to a global workforce.
Established in 1933 as Florida’s first public two-year college, Palm Beach State has continuously served the educational needs of Palm Beach County residents for 90 years and counting.
Meet and mingle with PBSC alumni - from military veterans and heroes to the community's
healthcare, business and public service professionals - all of whom are integral to
the vitality of Palm Beach County.
Join us in celebrating PBSC’s rich “Panther” legacy of transforming the lives of our students by empowering a generation of learners to become a generation of leaders.
Festivities include a cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and an awards presentation. This year's event will be hosted by Mistress of Ceremonies and WPTV News Channel 5 anchor Hollani Davis. The list of awardees follows.
