Step 1: Choose a Job
Objective
(Chronological Resume)
A job objective is usually a one or two line statement
indicating the specific job you are seeking. Once you have created your objective you
can target your resume to prove you have the skills, experience or education to
do the job. If you have several objectives, you may need to create separate
resumes for each one. Remember to focus on what you can do for the employer.
Objectives that
employers do not want to see!![](picts/pics for background/blank resume.jpg)
- Objective: Looking for a job that is flexible to my
school schedule where I learn new skills.
- Objective: Seeking a rewarding position in business
administration.
- Objective: Position to use my experience, skills,
and allow me to grow and develop while making a contribution.
These objectives are too vague and do not tell the employer what type of job you are seeking. |
