Step 7: List your work history
(Functional Resume)

On the functional resume, do not go into any detail about your previous jobs. List the name of the organization, dates of employment and your title.

Example:

BJs Wholesale, Boynton Beach, FL   Cashier   5/2008 - Present
Olive Garden, Lake Worth, FL   Server   4/2006 - 4/2008
Blockbuster Video, Jupiter, FL   Sales Clerk   3/2005 - 3/2006

 

Any relevant information from your employment will be listed in your skill categories.
