Palm Beach State College follows the guidelines set by the Articulation Coordinating Committee (ACC) in Florida State Board Rule 6A-10.024(7) for awarding credits to students who have participated in accelerated credit-by-exam mechanism programs.  Credit for all exams is awarded based on the recommendation of the State of Florida Articulation Coordinating Committee as listed on the chart found at https://www.flrules.org/.

General Guidelines

  • Scores must be submitted on an official score report from the organization administering the examination.
  • Students may earn a maximum of 45 credits through a combination of accelerated mechanisms.
  • Duplicate credit cannot be awarded.
  • Courses cannot be used for grade forgiveness purposes if student did not previously pass the course.
  • The grade of “S” is given for each course, and will not calculate into student’s GPA.

To receive credit for satisfactory scores on a nationally standardized exam, students must:

  • Apply to and be admitted to Palm Beach State College
  • Have official exam scores mailed directly to the College Registrar’s Office at 4200 Congress Avenue, MS#07, Lake Worth, FL  33461 or via email to transcriptevaluation@palmbeachstate.edu

If all requirements are met, the test information will be recorded on the student’s transcript.  Palm Beach State awards credit for passing scores on the following standardized exams.

To request official test scores and for more information on AICE, go to https://www.cie.org.uk/usa/.
