AA-AS Degree Transfer to Private Colleges & Universities
The AA, AAS, and AS degrees offer many opportunities to transfer to both public and private colleges and universities and complete your Bachelor’s degree. Palm Beach State also has several transfer agreements that allow you to complete your Bachelor’s degree completely on-line.
Transfer Agreements with Private Colleges & Universities for the AA, AAS or AS
Life University - Palm Beach State College AA to Doctor of Chiropractic degree
This agreement outlines prerequisite courses to complete while earning an Associate
in Arts at Palm Beach State College if intending to transfer to the Life University
Doctor of Chiropractic program.
Lynn University - 2+2 Transfer agreement for Palm Beach State College AA graduates.
Nova Southeastern University - Palm Beach State AA or AS in Early Childhood Education to BS in Elementary Education or BS in Exceptional Student Education
This agreement is in effect for those Palm Beach State students who graduate with
an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education or Associate of Arts degree.
It covers students who apply and are accepted to NSU's Fischler School of Education
and Human Services undergraduate teacher program leading to a Bachelor of Science
in Elementary Education or Exceptional Student Education. It is recommended that students
follow the advising sheets for this articulation included in the agreement.
Palmer College of Chiropractic - Palm Beach State College AA Degree This agreement is in effect for those Palm Beach State students who graduate with an Associate of Arts degree who complete specific General Education courses accepted by Palmer College of Chiropractic toward a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Sherman College of Chiropractic- Palm Beach State AA Degree
Students who complete the Associate in Arts degree at Palm Beach State College plus
the prescribed 30 additional credits will be eligible to apply and accepted at Sherman College of
Chiropractic to complete the Doctorate of Chiropractic degree.
St. Thomas University-Palm Beach State College AA Degree and Fire Science AS Degree
Those students who complete the AA degree or the Fire Science AS degree at Palm Beach
State College will transfer to St. Thomas University with a junior year upper division
status. Those who complete the appropriate sequence of AS level Fire Science courses
will articulate to the appropriate upper division courses in the Fire Science in the
St. Thomas School of Leadership.
Western Governors University - This is an updated 2+2 articulation agreement between WGU and the Florida College System/PBSC for Associate degree graduates into Bachelor of Arts in Education (varied) and Bachelor of Science in Accounting; Education (varied); Information Technology (Computer Science, Software Development) and Health Information Management (HIM) programs.
